Considering how busy it was (lunch time in the summer holidays) the food came through really quickly. You ordered the hot food via their screens (like McDonald's) and it was pretty easy, but with perhaps too many options, so the queues were big.

Food and drink expensive and basic although the staff were great. The zoo itself was not huge but had a real family-run feel and was excellent. We'd definitely recommend it.

Dairy free/Vegan ice cream is available. Plus a good range of other full fat ice cream. Nice little spot to have some refreshments while visiting the zoo.
